Built by operators, not observers

aiassistant.sg is operated by PFE Technologies, a Singapore company that runs e-commerce and smart-home businesses — and, inside those businesses, a working fleet of AI assistants: personal administration, research, lead handling, customer enquiries, internal knowledge, recruitment screening, and infrastructure monitoring. We have been building and operating these systems for our own use since 2024.

This site exists because the category is loud and the useful information is scarce. Vendors oversell, headlines alternate between magic and doom, and a business owner trying to answer “what would an AI assistant actually do for me?” mostly finds marketing. We think the more useful contribution is field notes: what these systems genuinely do, what they cost to run, where they fail, and how to specify one properly.
